I have just moved into the Oakland area and tried this place only once. Now I com here DAILY, simply because they have the most authentic Arabic food and the best chef in all of the Pittsburgh area. What you see in the photos is what you get, because I took those photos. The food is always fresh, hot, delicious, moderately spiced, and very reasonably priced. The menu selection is very diverse (they also have burgers and pizza) and the daily chef specials are the best to go with. When I go there I ask Maher (head chef) to make me food, and I truly don’t care what he makes, because every time he makes something more delicious that the time before it. Most important, they make the MOST DELICIOUS SHAWARMA IN ALL OF PENNSYLVANIA. All their food is halal, which makes me very comfortable eating from there. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor, take my word and try it, you will thank me. Just go there and ask for Maher, and he will prepare you the food experience you are looking for. I can’t wait to try more stuff from there, highly recommended!!!

A friend recommended this place for their shawarma, and which was absolutely phenomenal. I got the beef shawarma platter, which came with fantastic seasoned fries, 4 different kinds of pickled vegetables, and a delicious garlic sauce. Truly one of the best meals I have had in this city! Friendly staff, delicious food, and great prices. Definitely check them out when you are in South Oakland.

Wonderful Shawarma Arabic plate, we tried both the chicken and meat with garlic cream and Hummus. The portions are really large and the quality is by far the best I’ve had in the US and I’ve been here for 35 years and travelled extensively. The setting is casual in college neighborhood in Oakland. Highly recommended!

Great foods friendly staff!!! Open late, our flight was 3+ hours late and this was only a few place nearby that was open after midnight!!! Didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! Falafels were great, given to us while we waited for the food! Calzones were HUGE! Great tasting foods! We enjoyed the calzone and chicken Shawarmas!!!
